River Beach of Paúl

Land of strong agricultural and cultural traditions, the village Paul adapted in 2001, the margins of the river that drive through the village, to be used in the hottest time of year. The Ribeira do Paul born in Taliscas, by the merger of two major rivers of the county of Covilhã: Ribeira das Cortes and Unhais da Serra. Down the cliffs and hills of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, the clear waters of this tributary of the Zêzere gives life to the river beach. Near the fifth century bridge and surrounded by ancient Levadas and water mills, the area available to its users, in addition to refreshing spaces, the possibility of discovering the river surface rental boats.
