Ethnographic Museum of Liga dos Amigos de Alpedrinha


Installed in the ancient Town Hall, the Museum illustrates the past of alpetrinienses: how they worked, how they cooked, what they wore, how they lived. It features single use utensils such as black pottery, dishes, combs, toys; old clothing such as ladies underwear, dresses, baptism suits, ladies hats; utensils of typical professions such as barber and carpenter; sewing machines; a collection of irons from the earliest to the electrical; musical instruments of the old Philharmonic Band of Alpedrinha; typography, which belonged to José Antonio Mota Salvado, where printed the Monografia de Alpedrinha“, among other books also of his own and still shows old books.
