The Centum Cellas Tower have been, according to studies done after the excavations made in the 90s, a Roman first century AD villa, Lucius Caecilius property and their descendants who dedicated themselves to farm and exploitation of tin that abounded in this region. The tower, which was the most important building of the whole structure, consisted of two floors, with the ground floor several rooms and being the area of services.
