Castle of Sortelha

The Castle of Sortelha  is located in the eponymous village, Sabugal municipality, Guarda district in Portugal.

Erected on a granite massif in a dominant position over the valley of Riba-Coa, pass-through area between the Iberian Meseta and depression of Cova da Beira, part of the whole which is considered one of the best preserved historic villages of Beira Interior.
