Interpretation Center of Santiago Church


Romanesque temple of the thirteenth century, has changed over time, with Gothic and Mannerist elements. In the fourteenth century, it was built the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy, forming an interesting gothic set. In the late fifteenth century, the Pantheon of Cabrais himwas attached, restored in the seventeenth century, which today are the remains of Pedro Alvares Cabral. In the eighteenth century, its facade was remodeled and built the bell tower. It presents sixteenth century fresh inside. It was foothold to pilgrims of Santiago, a topic also addressed in the Interpretation Centre.
